THE SHADOW HE HAS BECOME

His silence like an arrow pierced my heart,
At the dawn of the night, my heart raced
Sleep parted, dreams scattered
My ears scream to the racing heart
In my haste, time was an enemy,
In my hurt, time became a friend
Gradually turning my lover into a shadow
Sexual intercourse became his only form of communication,
Digging in between the thighs, dripping of sweats, scratching of the back and Oh the thrusting.
The uuuggghhhh, ooohhh, aaahhh, mmm, yeeesss, he desired most.
Oh mine!!! the nectar that shelters in between the cave and sanctuary of a woman and the shaft of a man.
The odd of bending over, the pain of laying with a leg raised, the agony of lying in a wired manner felt nothing anymore.
Just the pleasure. Felt good.
The sweet nectar drips, and taste so good.
Times like this, i wish lasted forever
Soon the moment passes and we share nothing more.
He wears a mask scarier than the beast.
Like I was a fling, or maybe a one night stand
That nothing meant anything to him, not even the cuddle of a lover.
What took the sight of my lover?
Who had him under her bed cover?
Or did I get too short or I grew a little tall?
Did I trade my weight or bought a few pounds?
Did the size of my breast shrink or blossom that he didn't enjoy holding onto them and sucking them any longer, did they fail the test of time, showing the works done?
What of the kiss of love?
Or did the sight of my nakedness stop getting him hard on until he had explored every curve of my body with his tongue, from my toes all the way to nibble on my ears.
My finger is short, it cannot find a resting place.

A MINUTE SILENCE

My heart goes out to babies, who know nothing about this cruel world.
Who no matter how small, were the hope of a brighter tomorrow for their single mother.
Yet were not spared by this incidence, lets observe 10 seconds of silence.
Another 10 for that poor man, who was in a hurry to get home,
Just so his sick child could feed off the little he struggled to get, before he take his medicine
Yet could not make it home.
What about that young breadwinner?
The only graduate in a family of 10?
Who lost his life to this awful trend.
All in the haste to get home to inform his family that he finally got a job.
He sure deserves 10 seconds.
To all those drivers,
Who tried their best to get passengers safely to their destination,
Only to get home and find out that the destiny of his own family was no where near recognition.
I guess we could spare him just 10 seconds of our time.
10 seconds of silence, for Mothers, Fathers, Husbands,Wives,
Uncles, Aunties, Grandmothers, Grandfathers and Friends,
Who we exchanged pleasantries with, telling them we would see them soon
But now have been gutted by fire and lay unnoticeably burned to ashes amidst waste and scrap.
To virgin and disvirgined bodies, that were still kept in privacy
Only to be shown in the comfort of rooms, for the fear of showing off a few minor disabilities,
But now have gone viral all over social media,
And brings tears to the eyes because of it's painfulness to behold,
Please permit another 10 seconds.
Lets observe a minute silence, to all departed souls,
Who lost their lives to this tragedy.
It could have been me, it could have been you.........

SINFULLY HANDSOME

I know what I saw
Hidden, yet my mind could see
I just needed to look
Alas! That view was worth a second turn
There he stood, a towel clinched on his firm waist
Pleasing to the eyes as honey is to the tongue
For a century, my gaze holds on
Not even a blink of an eye, for I miss a curve
His skin as fertile as mother earth, ready to sprout forth her beauty
And the look in his eyes,
Like the touch of sun hitting the surface of water
Bright and daring
For a split second, my thoughts escaped
How it would feel to have his masculine rubbing against my feminine
Creating a sizzling sensation that stirs up emotions
Deep from the inside of my inner being
Gently, he lost grips of the towel,
There stood the mystery of my bewilderment
I was stunned, confused, and felt foolish
So I watched and watched
Not caring if I got caught or not, just watched
He was handsome
No!!! Sinfully Handsome
So all I think, stretching to the early morning sun rise
Is to steal a memory- peep, at him
I don’t know how long
But I know I'll keep looking.

PRISONER

I see all his does
I know where he goes
And with whom he goes
But whats the need for caring
When he is happy with someone else
Yet i sit still too frightened to make an expression

For what if an overflow of words
Out of the my painfulness of my heart
Through my lips will lead to our end
Or what if it actually makes a difference
And we get back to how we used to be.

Somehow I've always wanted to convey to you
The pain and sensation in my heart
But still not too brave enough to take chances
Threatened by the thin line between happiness and sorrow
So i'm stuck here in the middle

Stuck inside these walls too afraid to make a sound
For the fear of being heard and singled out
Simply hoping that one day. if not the next i might be set free

Like a victim before the court of law
Too careful for what i say might lead to a lifetime of loneliness
And too conscious of my every move knowing it might impersonate me.
So i just keep mute and deal with all this pain
Until i'm set free.

STABBED

Right on this bed you told me you loved me,
And for reasons unknown i believed without doubt.
Little did i know those words would enslave me,
Blinden me, and leave me shattered.
I put my heart and soul into those words
And in the process I've lost my mind.
My heart is heavy
My soul is in pain
There's a rebel lying deep in my soul
Battling with let him go and let him stay
Like its an easy decision to make
When my body still yearns for your touch
We've always wanted a perfect future together
And we lived each day like a fulfillment of our to be
As we waited for it to come so we could flea
But here i am today,
On this same bed that once brought smiles on my face
And chills down my spine, at the touch of your hand.
Memories that appear anytime i close my eyes,
Making it difficult to let go, even if i need to
I'm filled with anger and pain
My heart is racing with so many emotions
Hoping to let loose and be free
How i feel i do not know
And what i know, i can't believe.
Like a knife you pierced through my insides with those last words
And now that emptiness still remains.
I sit here with thoughts crowded in my mind
But still not the slightest idea how to move on
I built my world around you
And now it all just crumpled and fell
My heart is bleeding
My soul aches
All for trusting

LOST IN THOUGHT

So many things i wish to do
So many places i'd love to see
And more people i dream to meet.
One minute it seems to be moving in the right direction,
And the next, it all just fades away.
Maybe all of this wasn't meant for me?
How could i think something this good could happen?
Everything just seems so far from reality,
And everyone, even though my eyes can see, i can't reach.
But how could i for once even think this was meant to be?
I don't know what to do,
I don't know how to move on,
I've dream't this for so long just to watch it slip away.
But as always, its a dream that fades anytime i wake up.
Sometimes things happen so fast,
That i don't know what is really important to say or do
The wind seems to be moving along with all my plans, nothing stays
And as hard as i try, there's not much i can do but watch as it sways
So what if i don't dream?
And just scream,
Would it make any difference?
Will i be heard?
Or will it just be absurd.
I don't know who i am
I think i'm lost

LOVE ACCIDENTALLY

They say love is blind
So i never thought i was seeing clearly the day i met you.
Your hazel eyes staring at me, seemed to have dared me.
And so my eyes lingered on,
Even though they were a bit wondered at your sight.
As the day went by I fell so quickly, i couldn't even feel myself fall
Here i was doing things i didn't imagine i could do,
Saying words i never knew my lips could speak,
Falling freely, in and out of love.
Things moved rather faster than i thought,
And got better even if we fought.
Nothing could hold back our emotions
Midnight calls were constant, even if we barely said a word
And the sleepover was a regular routine.
You made me fall so deep.
Maybe because we always ended up asleep,
Waking up the next morning and relieving all the moments
And at times doing it all over
Maybe i really i'm blind,
Or, i'm just out of my mind
But i think we better find a cure
Before we begin to think that what we feel is pure
Or maybe it really is.

WANT YOU BACK

 I.
For all these years we have shared times together
Whether good or bad, we were ever determined to make it better.
Like those times when we used to walk in the park
Laughing and giggling or having lunch on the mat.
All the promises, the wishes and the plans we had for the future,
And what went wrong?

 II.
What went wrong?
We did spend time-out with our friends
Laughing through out without them even knowing why,
It was amusing and so, looked at us in a funny way
Those made us laugh the more, muttering together
“Observers are worried!” So what went wrong?

III.
 What went wrong?
We’d talk at night for hours without talking about anything,
In particular, Wow! What Prince could this hither bring?
I go everywhere with you so far as I was by your side
To spirits of the air, our visions were so wide:
And what went wrong?

IV.
What went wrong?
Or is it just a confirmation of the saying that
“People change overnight”. Is it something I said or did?
Or has our bond just lost its firm grip.
Is this the end of the road for us? No! Because I just can’t let you go?
I wish I had a little idea of how to right the wrongs.

 V.
How to take us back to the good old days that
I still believe is nowhere towards end yet.
I treasure every bit of time I spent together with you,
Because they were my very best.
If only I knew. If only I had the slightest idea what to do.
Then I guess things would be better

VI.
Ah -it’s meaningless without you.
With all these treasures I posses, it’s true.
Even though I’m breathing I can’t survive.
And though I’m living I’m not alive.
How do I tell my mind to stop loving when my heart still does?
I know that we love with our hearts when it comes.

VII.
But what’s the job of the mind without the heart
H’m and the heart without the mind?
My nights are sleepless and I’m losing control,
Oh! I’m tearing apart to see you go
This feeling is killing my heart by an inch every passing hour.
I want you back! I want you back to fill the blank spaces in my life.

VIII.
I still remember those days when I sneak out to spend time with you,
And have the kind of joy that only you could give.
I certainly have visions of delight to hold, to cherish, to lean unto,
To embrace and never let go of you
I need you more than I need myself!
I know it sounds funny right, but, yeah it’s real.

IX.
That’s how far your absence can take me.
Your rejection, neglect and abandonment is killing me!
I need you to give me back my faith in humility.
I really do need you back in my life.
Want you back.
